SUMMARY

DM Fulfillment, a fast-growing entrepreneurial organization, is looking for a world-class leader to build and scale our high performance Business Development and Sales teams. The Vice President of Sales will work with Business Development Managers and Pricing Strategists to develop and execute a business plan aligned to company strategy to ensure profitable growth objectives of DM Fulfillment are met.

Reporting to the President of Distribution Management and located in our St. Charles, MO Headquarters, the Vice President of Sales will:

  • Provide expertise and leadership in building multiple sales functions including Business Development, Inside Sales and Lead Generation activities

  • Attract, recruit, and retain, and develop a world-class team

  • Maximize the performance of every person on the Sales team by  managing, training, coaching, pushing, and driving their success

  • Develop and execute lead generation campaigns and growth strategies with Marketing, Client Operations, President/CMO, and CEO

  • Target and secure clients that are a match to the ideal product profile, ideal client profile and in line with company strategy

  • Develop proposals and negotiate contracts with prospect clients

  • Perform research and networking to get to the right person at prospect and understand the needs of their business

  • Ensure the continued build-out of systems and data-driven processes

  • Build strategic relationships and represent the company at industry events

  • Engage with Senior Management of target clients thereby aligning DMF services to their supply chains by means of a sale

  • Create, maintain and execute on a business plan that meets objectives in order to achieve company profitable growth targets including the development of channel and vertical strategies

  • Collaborate with peers from various departments (IT, Accounting, Credit, HR, Finance, Analytics, Distribution Centers)

  • Protect and leverage the dynamic culture and core values of DMF

  • Manage to the P&L statements for DM Fulfillment

Qualifications:

  • Seven to Ten years of Outside Sales and Leadership experience in Third Party Fulfillment industry
  • Must have experience in building relationships and trust with clients
  • Bachelor’s degree is required – business / marketing degree preferred
  • Ability to listen to customers and guide them to the right resources
  • Sufficient understanding of the warehousing and fulfillment business to have credible discussions and gain the trust of prospects
  • Passionate about positive customer experience balanced with business needs

Other Important Information:

  • Travel Requirement: This individual will be expected to travel for extended periods of time to visit prospects and existing client locations, industry events, and business partners (4-6 nights per month avg.)

DMI/Supplies Network has immediate openings for picker/packers, shippers, receivers and forklift drivers in our Distribution Center in Hazelwood, MO.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Count all product, compare to manifest and check all shipments for damage, shortages and overages. Sign for inbound shipments when necessary. Unload inbound trucks and safely move product for storage.
  • Efficiently pick customer orders for shipment, ensuring that the correct number and type of product is picked. Assemble orders for shipment.
  • Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Follow company quality guidelines. Repack and weigh any order that requires such handling. Report quality variances.
  • Keep accurate records and reports. Assist in physical inventories and cycle counts. Ensure proper stock rotation.
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area. Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse. Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety. Comply with OSHA and other appropriate standards.
